Frasier falls ill and is confined to bed. He ends up being a horrible patient, getting on Daphne's nerves. When it becomes clear that KACL restaurant critic Gil Chesterton is attempting to steal his time slot, Frasier begs Niles to take over. When Niles unexpectedly becomes quite a success, a feverish Frasier begins to imagine plots against him and decides to drag himself to the station no matter what.
