E3KlootschießenWhen constable Jens sets a new local record at the Frisian sport 'Klootschießen' in the moor, his metal weight accidentally hits a decades-old adult male corpse's risen hand. Medical particularities fit only one long-massing man: the only-ever local soccer football (socker) star-in-the making, Jell. Jens meets partner Süher's now in-living brother Yunus as the check on fresh widow Marlies Jell, always the town's suspect as every teammate testified against her, apparently a serial adulterer, at the original police inquest, while her near-identical single sister Ulrike moved in and deals with repeated vandalism. . - Irrfeuer
E4IrrfeuerThe 'pagan tradition' fire feast Leer's new municipal tourism officer Torben Martmann to attract visitors to the East Frisian coast ends in horror as beat cops Jens Jensen and Süher Özlügül -who dates Torben's son Matthias Martmann - must call upon the firemen -including Mathias- as a burning corpse in seen inside the straw effigy. Commissioner Jan Brockhorst, unwillingly dispatched from the nearby city to supervise the investigation, arrives in a smoldering mess. Jens fears the binoculars in the ashes belong to his ecologist girlfriend ornithologist Klara Wachstieg, but the victim is Sabine Feig, willing co-owner of the land destined as bird sanctuary, while her co-heir brother Bertram wants to turn it into a camping site. Brockhorst is badly skull-hurt by a masked intruder in the history society's dusty archive checking up the place where the authentic Celtic stones with pagan symbols for the four elements were stolen from and buried at the beach, now stolen again, and the symbols are painted all over town, perhaps just for the local 'pagan' rock band. Undertaker and local historian Wolfgang Habedanks reluctantly accepts to nurse Brockhorst at home, while pharmacist Insa Scherzinger examines the burnt corpse in his morgue and he serves pot cakes. Jens and Süher, their dates and persons related to them may all be involved in unsavory ways. - Krabbenkrieg
E5KrabbenkriegHaving served jail time for robbery and homicide, Arne Terjehusen returns to Leer, where everyone remembered he swore revenge. Jens catches him robing Insa Scherzinger's pharmacy and can barely fight off Arne -who terrorized him and buddies as youths- until Süher, arrives and shoot Arne Terjehusen fatally. Checking Arne's smartphone, they wonder about a video marked "Heulinger seafood", leading to the fish cooler-hidden corpse of shipping entrepreneur Klaus Heulinger. This sets Jens and Süher on the trail of the crab trade via his hostile, much younger ex Jessica Heulinger, who run a restaurant, which he planned to buy with now missing cash, and firm driver Oliver Gerdes, only to realize it's a front for a lethal business.
