Assisted by the lovely AGENT HEATHER and his robotic dog G-9, Gadget Boy tracks down the evil villainess SPYDRA as she careens through Time with her hapless henchmen, stealing, plundering, and changing significant historical events for her own gain. With Spydra on the loose, nothing is safe from - from the Opal Mines of Australia, to the ancient Phoenician's moveable sail, to the discovery of fire.

On their way to stopping Spydra's fiendish plot, Gadget Boy becomes an honored member of an Aboriginal tribe, Agent Heather takes the balloon trip of her life, and G-9 does his best to deal with being taped to the ground by Gadget Boy (so he doesn't 'fall off')!

Spydra's diabolical plans include not only making Shelley wear the helmet and fabricate a real Frankenstein monster, but also include having Boris pen Frankenstein himself, but writing in Spydra as the monster! Unfortunately, Gadget Boy thinks he's attending a wild costume party, and not at all trying to save the history of horror in literature!

She also decides to make sure that the explorers never make it to the pole. But not to worry as Gadget, G-9 and Heather show up to guide each of the explorers and save the day.

And Agent Heather, with the help of the local native Americans, tricks Spydra. Apparently fool's gold isn't the only fool in them thar hills.

Spydra plans to destroy Myra's prototype for Time Travel so that Spydra will be the only one skipping through time. When Boris falls into the Beatnik way of life, our heroes help Myra and Skippy keep their present intact while using the orbit of Sputnik II to Time-Travel themselves back home... with a Russian Astro-pet for the Chief.
