Irmgard Geul: My Hometowns

Oklahoma embroidery artist Irmgard Geul grew up in a Dutch artist colony, then relocated to Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to run a horse farm. She balances her "hometowns" with her work, using threads to capture small-town scenes from her rural studio -- as seen in an exhibit of her works that plays off iconic images of both Oklahoma and the Netherlands.
