As Christmas approaches, Betty, Mike's mum, is staying with them. Despite her attempts to assist, Mike and Alison soon become frustrated with her intrusive behavior and when the ghosts realise they are like Betty they decide to tell Alison some news. Some news that could see the ghosts and Mike and Alison go their separate ways and move on.
