Elvis Maginnis was born into a criminal family but decided to join the police service. Having left the police he now owns a dry cleaning business essentially run by Stella. The another staff member is Rueben, a young man suffering Tourettes. Set in Melbourne Elvis is constantly dragged into the underworld's grey world with police and criminals. People aren't always what they seem!
