Helga Ulrich is becoming more and more hysterical. She is afraid of the harmless gardener Otto with his secateurs and panics when she hears footsteps on the deserted street behind her. Daniel offers to stay with her over the weekend so that Frank and Elke can still leave; Martin can't talk Marina out of the fixed idea that she will die on the 13th. She firmly believes in this prophecy of the clairvoyant. Martin is seriously worried and asks Mrs. Meinhart for help; Patrick is jealous of Lena's success in the advertising campaign for Patterson.
