She still believes she must die that day. Patrick refuses Lena to join the campaign with the famous French star photographer André Carpentier. Hans returns her brooch to Mrs. Meinhart at Peter's behest. Patrick is rudely reminded that his loan will soon be due. Daniel gets a visit from a Scotland Yard inspector. He willingly takes him to Helga's hiding place. There he experiences a surprise.
