Robert Linden meets Lilo Gottschick. The sophisticated demimonde-rate lady explains that Erwin Becker was intimidated on her behalf. Robert is therefore in her debt; The Richters give a party that gets out of hand "thanks to" the fatefully intertwined guests. Peter sees Julia again, treats her coldly at first, but reacts with glowing jealousy when Frank approaches her. Helga Ullrich shows up with the publisher Walter, which prompts Daniel to come to the party with Lilo Gottschick. Elke and Julia are horrified. Frank wants to calm Elke down, but gets rejected and seeks comfort from Julia. The appearance of the completely drunk Patrick makes the mess perfect.
