The Richters negotiate with the police. Heiko is accused of having committed a traffic offense. Clemens explains to the officers that it was not his son, but his brother Karsten who drove the car. Marina drags Markus to her home so that Karsten thinks she has an overnight visitor. Both don't really know how to spend their time and play Monopoly. When the doorbell rings, the police are standing in front of it. They are looking for Karsten. Markus feels queasy, he leaves; Hilde is rehabilitated - the hotel thief is her boss Kordes.
