Elke asks Dr. Ullrich if she could move in with Mrs. Meinhart when her parents leave the city. He has no concerns. Vera gets drunk in public for the first time. Daniel takes her out of the bar of the Carlton Hotel and to dress her down. Elke visits Michael Döring, but rejects him when he wants more from her than just talking. After Elke has howled in search of the distance, Döring calls a woman who is on the mat a little later: It is Lilo Gottschick.
