At the Richters' breakfast table, Peter Becker says he wants to move out. Heiko is against it and argues with his mother Vera about it. Mrs. Meinhart shows up and wants to talk to Peter. She accuses him of taking her farewell letter when he was in her apartment. He becomes sarcastic and thinks that then he can blackmail her with it. Deeply hurt goes Mrs. Meinhart. She meets Clemens Richter, who wants to talk to Vera. The planned 'reconciliation' ends in new quarrels. Elke makes an appointment with Julia. She wants to know more about their job.
