When Gerner finds the letter with Patrick's confession, he feels responsible for his brother's troubles. He takes responsibility for Patrick's misdemeanor and sets out to find him. An angry argument ensues between the two. But then they come to an amicable decision regarding their competition for the Count's empire. However, they are completely dumbfounded when they hear their father's decision. Tina's wedding plans are in full swing. Beatrice makes a dramatic announcement in an attempt to persuade Matthias to call the whole thing off after all. Karin wants to prove that she can be a responsible, grown-up woman. She takes Elke's advice and applies for a job with Michael. Will she be able to convince him that she is suitable?
