Gerner finds himself in a life-threatening situation and Patrick, of all people, comes to his aid. Vera has an appointment with Julius Falkenstein, which Clemens doesn't like at all. Although Vera assures him that it is purely a business appointment, Clemens suspects there is more to it. Saskia uncovers Beatrice's life lie. But the feared reactions fail to materialize and instead an admirer from the old days comes forward.
