The main character of the story is the engineer Josef Hovora, an agricultural expert who devoted his entire life to the breeding of noble horses . The series is also a probe into the different characters of racing riders. The central motif of the story is the struggle to save the breeding of racehorses, which is competed by the idea of economically more advantageous cattle breeding.
