Knowing Gou's secret crush on Hidekatsu, Hidetada teases Gou and says goodbye as he leaves Osaka with Ieyasu. While Hideyoshi is deeply depressed by the death of his beloved brother, Hidenaga, Mitsunari advises Hideyoshi to condemn Rikyu to death.
