After the op to apprehend the ones behind the buses blows up, literally, Mike thinks that someone he's working with tipped Carlito. Mike decides not to turn Lawrence in so that he could question him. He later learns that Paige took the place of the girl who arrived because she died because of the drugs she ingested. He's worried that she'll be lost unless he finds her. So he asks Briggs to help him with Lawrence.
