Created and starring comedian Greg Guillotin, The Worst Intern is a hidden-camera series that plays on the tropes of awkward humor. In each episode, the comedian infiltrates a different profession (baking, food service, music, crafts, etc.) as the worst intern imaginable: lazy, incompetent, arrogant, or completely out of touch with reality.
Accompanied by a fake film crew pretending to shoot a serious TV report (often for France 3), his mission is to test the patience and nerves of his supervisor—the target of the prank—by making one blunder after another. Amid absurd situations and palpable tension, the show captures the genuine reactions of professionals faced with an unmanageable disruptive element, right up to the final reveal.
