In a bid to win Grant over, Michelle throws herself in the canal to try to get Grant to be a hero after Grant and Claire enter the flat to see her having sex with Chris. In a quest to mend his broken heart, Chris accidentally kills the puppy he adopted that was intended for Grant. Alex falls for Jenny, but Jenny falls for Chris.
