"Guldbaggen" is the Swedish film award that has been awarded annually since 1964 at the Guldbagge Gala by the Swedish Film Institute "for outstanding contributions to Swedish film during the past year". It was originally awarded in four categories, which has been expanded to almost twenty over the years. In addition, several related awards are awarded during the awards ceremony.
