The story of the series revolves around lead protagonist Najaf (Iqra Aziz). She hails from Middle-class background. She is living in Hyderabad in a modest environment with her sisters, father Quddos (Firdous Jamal) and step mother Khalda (Annie Zaidi). The story takes a new turn when she is being rusticated from the college In spite of being a shining student. Her expulsion was done by the young owner of college Sikander (Zahid Ahmed). She was forced to disagreed with him over unimportant issue which was not supposed to be the way it happened. It was due to the jealousy Najaf's class mates trapper her in this problem. Upset Najaf returns to home just to see her step mother fight that she will leave their home the moment Najaf's father arrived to Middle East for a job to make both ends meet of the family. From here Najaf's hardships start.
