Bas is delighted when he hears Josje took to cooking, actually a desperate attempt to break Kristel's weekly regulars routine, and gets her to prepare a romantic ossobucco dinner for two the next day. After utterly messing it up for the girls, she gets Rosie to 'cater discretely' while Bas arranges to use the girls' balcony and they agree to suspend the pact not to date him alone. When Bas arrives, however, he isn't alone.
