Bas is besotted with Spanish exchange student Esperanza. The girls feel their no-dating-pact is outdated and try to seduce him, even Rosie, also imitating various Spanish customs. Esperanza's family only welcomes seasoned bullfighters. Josje is forbidden from taking piglet from Marcel's farm as pet, so he suggests she does like he as a boy: imagine a dog. When that proves obnoxious, Karen suggests caring for a bag of chips instead.
