Gavin Esler speaks to Khawaja Khalid Farooq, who until very recently was head of Pakistan's National Counter Terrorism Authority. Does David Cameron's change of tone represent a new understanding that Pakistan is bearing a heavy burden of fighting and suffering great losses? Or is it part of a Western panic that Pakistan may be in such trouble that public criticism is no longer of any use?
