The Athenian magistrate's delegate in Pluribus, Traicus, enjoys terrorizing his citizens. Only veteran Amphion, whom Hercules and Iolaus come visit, dares speak up, but he's charged with murder and refuses to plead innocence due to a war trauma. Hercules decides to prove his innocence with the sword of veracity, which prevents lying. Hestia priestess Lea helps him and Iolaus on a perilous quest for it in cursed caves.
