Prince Gekkus succeeds his murdered brother as king and leads his troops to chase prime suspects Autolycus, the master thief, and Salmoneus, who were in the wrong place. To avoid recognition, they dress as females and join widow Twanky's traveling dancers troop. It's to perform in the Athens Palladium, where Gekkus arrives at spectator, looking for a dancer as private company.
