Some months have passed since episode 1.13. Eveline is now in a retirement home and Felix died due to alcohol abuse. As Polliet was unable to buy the pub there will be a public sale in a few weeks. Luc heads to a college friend for his studies. Fons predicts Nicole will give birth this evening. It is his first prediction which actually happens. Due to the freezing it is very slippery outside so the doctor had an accident on his way to Nicole and his assistant is not willing to come. That's why Marie is asked as midwife. On request by Nicole, Gust must only get her parents. It is Justine who spills out to Gerard Nicole is having contractions. Gerard and Annie head up to the apartment of Nicole but Harry refuses to let them in. There is a burglar: some bottles of wine are stolen out of the cellar of Aristide and Sickx. Smoked meat is stolen out of the car of Gentil. The suspect is a Gypsy family who settled their camper on the square. By coincidence Aristide finds out Aurelia is most probably a member of a spiritual sect.
