Max begins to show signs of his continued opiate abuse which starts to effect his work. Luc forces his hand into giving a blood test but instead Max states he is leaving Holby not to return. Jonny and Mo play a practical joke on Tara with Ollie's phone but it backfires on them when Tara cottons on to what they are up to. The report into Ritchie Mooney's death is inconclusive and Hanssen is bombarded with hate mail.
