Casey is depressed after his testimony got Ricki off but Tamara's returning memory didn't revive their love, so he starts drinking sneakily. Maddie stumbles upon his flask and promises silence if he shares the vodka, but gets so drunk Roo finds out. Dexter manages to 'break in' the rude new hospital doctor Peta Bradley, but April, who looked forward to her intern training, makes a bad start and stubbornly stays the whole night to get an impossible, 'punitive' assignment done.
