Josh is caught sleeping in Maddie's room by Marilyn, who sympathizes, also when he sighs about being victim of his father's absence since his birth, making bad big brother Andy mother's favorite. Darryl refuses to tell Casey and Rickie why he's so interested in the Barrett, except that he remembers knowing the family in their poor Mangrove River days. Secretly, he goes to Andy's hiding hut and meets the boys's surprised mother Debbie.
