With Casey recovering, he asks Heath, who initially refuses because his spontaneous application was rejected on account of his drug past, yet reconsiders to keep Casey's seat warm and takes to it brilliantly. Nick gets Darryl to ask Liam why they can't collaborate anymore. Lial admits the theft, gives not motive and is bitterly fired. Dex does well his first day back in college, but April is lost and realizes she can't do without him.
