She selfishly refuses either to commit or to take any responsibility for Spencer's dilemma, so he tells Chris it's off. Darryl, encouraged by Nat, goes to see Rickie who is taking pictures on the beach as neither believed the other wants a relationship. Dex is delighted when Steph offers to get physical, yet can't get beyond kissing until he makes a clean break with April. She now just wants him back and blindly wants that still an option, hence inconsistently scolds him for 'infidelity' just after admitting they agreed to a fully open break.
