Palmer receives child welfare case worker Brennan, who confirms his whole adoption procedure is back to scratch. He refuses even to consider resign himself to the precarious foster father status, even after Morgan's legal advice is to lay low, but dreads telling Jett. Dex refuses to reconsider his nursing training drop-out and hospital resignation, or to consult April, who refuses to see him anyway. The exes are tricked to a dinner, but April proves non-supportive, even scolds him changed so badly that they can't remain friends.
