Next to Anja's regular bathing resort hotel in Marmaris, to deputy Mustafa's delight, where animators bitterly disagree how to handle frisky female tourists. E4Die steinernen KriegerIstanbul murder detective commissioner Mehmet Özakin and his deputy Mustafa Tombul investigate the murder of art gallery owner Alpay Ertem, found there skull smashed twice with a water bottle. In a nearby drain are found the smashed pieces of a priceless Byzantine era stone relief. Alpay filed for divorce from Leyla, who claims to be abused; he was likely to get custody of their two school age children, which his wealthy parents now claim. Leyla has an affair with her lawyer, Illhan Haci. The relief leads to links between the victim and someone in the Istanbul City Archeological Museum, but its director and the police chief want to avoid any scandal. New crimes are to follow.
