John finds a position at the University of Wollongong in Australia, and as Jennifer says, they nearly liquidate their lives, sell everything they own, to make the move. As their house hunt begins, real estate agent Daniel John Norris tells them their budget will not buy them what they want. With each property they see, the balance between wish list and budget becomes more difficult until, with Daniel's humor and guidance, they work through a decision.
