This is a somewhat Canadianised version of the NBC counterpart. Film inserts on nature and travel were added and a Canadian forest ranger named Timber Tom replaced Buffalo Bob as emcee.

    Episode 1Howdy Doody is joined by Ranger Bill, Captain Scuttle Butt, Percival Parrot, Dilly Dally, and Princess Haida. The Captain sings, Blow The Man Down, and tells them a story about his adventures. Movie time features a film about a colt, which is narrated by Ranger Bill. Both Phineas T. Bluster and the Captain receive packages in the mail. The Howdy Doody gang wonder what Bluster's mysterious package might be (the plot is left unresolved to be continued in the next episode).
