At a model airplane show, the event's patron, Anton Stark, suddenly drops dead. The toy manufacturer was dependent on a pacemaker, and pathologist Dr. Anja Licht initially suspects heart failure. But Stark's widow disagrees. She is firmly convinced that it was murder and that the arms industry was behind it. Hubert and Staller laugh at her conspiracy theory. They don't find Marianne Stark, who is usually only seen drunk, credible. But then Dr. Licht discovers that Anton Stark's pacemaker was tampered with. Hubert and Staller are skeptical: Perhaps there is a grain of truth to the widow's absurd theories? She suddenly presents the police with a USB stick belonging to her husband, which contains complicated technical blueprints. Hubert and Staller begin their investigation and first question Gustav Giebel, Stark's business partner. He explains that it's nothing more than the blueprint for a new model airplane. Hubert and Staller are baffled. It's only during the latest gossip at Sabrina Rattlinger's bakery that the two learn that Anton Stark hasn't made friends everywhere with his toy airplanes.
