In Wolfratshausen, valuables have been disappearing from parked cars for some time now – without any signs of forced entry. The entire precinct is working on the case until Hubert and Staller find the body of Leon Weißenbacher, an obvious tattoo enthusiast, in one of the vehicles. The last free space on his body is covered with a large bandage, beneath which a freshly tattooed dragon is visible. Dr. Anja Licht initially assumes a natural death, but after further examinations, she notices the elevated blood sugar level. The doctor is certain that the deceased must have died from an insulin overdose. Since no puncture marks were found on Leon Weißenbacher's body, attention quickly turns to the new tattoo. The murderer must have inked the insulin under his skin. Weißenbacher was a regular at the "Art Session" tattoo studio, run by Sophia and Georg Beyer. To find out which of the two injected the lethal dose, Staller infiltrates the tattoo shop posing as an interested rocker. It quickly becomes clear that Sophia Beyer was the one who tattooed Weißenbacher. When Hubert follows her after work, he ends up at a dance studio. Therefore, he asks his colleague Sonja Wirth to also take part in the Zumba classes in the future. While Sonja discovers that Sophia Beyer is taking dance lessons from Kilian Weißenbacher, the dead man's brother, Hubert and Staller cling to the theory that the tattoo artist was having an affair with her regular customer. Despite all their investigations, the police cannot find a conclusive motive. At the same time, Riedl sets out to catch the car thief in the act. When he actually catches him, he escapes, and Riedl is left with nothing but a tiny clue that turns out to be completely insignificant. Meanwhile, Girwidz puts pressure on Hubert and Staller to finally solve the murder case. In their desperation, the two plan a fake blackmail.
