Sonja Wirth goes undercover to hunt down a pickpocket at the Ritter dance school. But instead of catching the thief, she witnesses dance school owner Jonas Ritter being killed by a ceiling speaker during class. To Hubert and Staller, it all looks like a tragic accident. Ironically, it turns out that her buddy Yazid installed the speakers. Did he botch the installation? Yazid angrily denies this, and in fact, the investigation reveals that the speaker mount was cleverly tampered with. Who could have a motive for eliminating the dance teacher in such a cunning way? When Hubert and Staller investigate a complaint from Barbara Hansen about illegally parked cars in front of her bakery, they learn from the newly minted shopkeeper that the dead man was a notorious womanizer. Jonas Ritter also seems to have meant more to his attractive business partner, Marcella Torres... Staller is smitten by the fiery dance teacher and, to his colleague's horror, discovers the tango dancer in himself. This temporarily clouds his view of the crime, and he can't believe that the adored dancer has become the focus of the investigation. Did she kill her partner to get her hands on the dance school's property? Sonja Wirth, meanwhile, is on the heels of the pickpocket and is finally able to convict him through a clever move. As Hubert and Staller examine a veritable treasure trove of stolen goods, their investigation into the dance school murder also takes an unexpected turn.
