Rinko Yuki (Ryoko Shinohara) is a lawyer with a strong will to win. She comes from a humble background, but she has the skills of a hyena and uses any means necessary to win her cases. Rei Ichijo (Ikusaburo Yamazaki) is an elite lawyer and works for the biggest law firm in Japan. His family has worked in the legal field for generations. These two lawyers, who are totally opposite from each other, compete for survival in the cut throat law profession. Along the way, a relationship develops between them.
