At the trial in the district court, the younger woman blames Tove's death on her older comrade. Instead, the elderly points out the younger as a complicit. The district court sentences them both to life for murder - but the defense lawyers have serious objections to the prosecutor's evidence and the forensic investigation and appeals to the High Court. In the High Court, the whole case then takes a dramatic turn.
