In the year 20XX, a gigantic meteorite is on a path to destroy the planet within 6 months. Japan struggles to maintain order with its impending doom.

The Kadokura family lives in Setagaya, Tokyo. Kumiko Kadokura (Michiko Hada) is an ordinary wife, but she suddenly informs her family that she loves someone else and wants to spend her final moments with him. She then leaves their family home. Her family, including her husband Kazuhiko (Hiroyuki Amano), are confused by her action. The rest of the family have their own secrets.

But then Kumiko, mother and housewife of the Kadokura family makes an announcement...

    Episode 2Kumiko's relationship with her former classmate, Katase, is continuing secretly. However, not knowing who he is to Kumiko, Kazuhiko and Katase begin to deepen their friendship. In five months, the meteorite will wipe out the Earth.

    Episode 3Kazuhiko is still under his mother's thumb, his rebellious period arrived too late. Meanwhile, Misaki wants to spend the remaining four months with a fellow teacher she has feelings for.

    Episode 4In order to go after Moriyama who leaves for the countryside, Misaki decides to leave home. And even though Kumiko and others are astonished at the way she's doing things, a major action takes place to decide the final parting for the world's end.
