Liv, Ravi, Major and Clive must solve the murder of hard-boiled private detective Frank Chisel, who was stabbed in the head with an ice pick. After Liv consumes his brain, she turns Dirk Bogarde and the investigation proceeds in film noir style, looking into dark drug trade secrets. Meanwhile forces gather against the zombies, including her evil father, but the chief of staff casts the deciding vote against bombing Seattle.
