The Cévennes National Park, more than 91,000 hectares, barely 1% of the national territory and yet this place alone contains more than half of the territory's biodiversity. A place has its history shaped by a prolific nature where dozens of ecosystems linked to rock, woodland, herbaceous or aquatic environments have shaped a unique landscape. Far from excluding human life, the park is home to more than 40,000 people. Is this why it has always been considered a "different from the rest" park?
