The main characters flee the city and head into the wilderness. Telma, who is on the run from her parents, meets up with her friends in the forest. Meanwhile, Kristaps struggles with his mother's engagement to his drug dealing boss and joins the group on their journey. Paula and Zirnis, who have recently broken up, also join the group. David's father reflects on the importance of his children in his life. The story ends with the group setting off on their journey into the wild.
