Kim Schumacher's mother finds it difficult to accept that her son is gay. Despite that, he lives his love life in a fixed threesome relationship with two men, and all three of them live together. In the mid-1980s, Kim Schumacher has become a well-known face, and he seeks out New York's nightlife to live out his life. His popularity culminates in an American-inspired talk show, which is a complete novelty on Danish TV, but being the first to come up with something new does not necessarily equate success.
