In his native Staroozersk, the capital's chef Slava Vinogradov is awaited not only by his father, the head teacher of the local culinary technical school, but also by a real surprise - a son, whose existence Slava did not know about for seventeen years. In order to get to know the teenager, one of the students of the technical school, better and to establish relations with Vinogradov Sr., the fashionable chef becomes a teacher at the educational institution.
