The men in the village are preparing to meet the bandits and arm themselves with whatever they can. Katya tries to reason with them, but Sergey himself joins the defenders of the village. Viktor makes out the found drugs and hands them over to the administration. Meanwhile, Pasha is holding his brother's funeral. Egor tries to negotiate with Pasha to take only drugs, but he intends to take Gennady as well. The gypsies come to Polina, Gennady's mother. They demand a drug case from her and intimidate her. German Mikhailovich is arrested, accused of corrupt activities. Anna tries to get back to Viktor, but he throws her out. Egor helps Gennady escape and wants to turn him in to the police. But the gypsies kidnap Gennady.
