Egor persuades some locals to leave Viktor and start their own business. Viktor and his accomplices decide not to leave Egor alone and, in addition, punish the district police officer. Raisa finds gross violations in the documents, and Fyodor Ilyich makes it clear to her that she is responsible for these mistakes. When she gets home, she makes a scene for Sergey, making it clear that her troubles are due to his intractability. Sergey has not given up on the idea of finding the arsonist and is on the trail. Egor continues to develop his business. Sergey finds out that Lena committed the arson out of revenge for Gena. Egor negotiates with Lyuba about the supply of fish and finds bullet holes in Genka's car.
