S1 • E12 Dec 14, 1998 60mTim suddenly starts shaking while examining a patient and can hardly hold on to his balance. Suzanne and Evan are worried about him but Tim just brushes it off. Roger is surprised when he bumps into and old acquaintance at the hospital; Eleanor Riggs, who is an old college girlfriend that he once loved passionately. Roger is excited about seeing her again but then he finds out from Eleanor's former doctor that she suffers from a terminal, inoperable tumor. Trying to compensate as he's probably losing the twin girls, Tim goes to donate his bone marrow to a very sick young boy. However, the kid's doctor, Dr. Grant, refuses to let him go through with it because Tim's blood pressure is way too high. Roger confronts Eleanor about not telling him of her illness. He insists on trying to help her but Eleanor has come to terms with the fact the's going to die and just wants to spend time with Roger instead. Meanwhile, Tom Arnold drops by the clinic and Felicity scares him with her depressing Y2
